Owen Auby is a Junior at Monona Grove High School, and has studied piano with Jess Salek for nearly five years. Owen aspires to be a professional musician. In addition to playing the piano, other hobbies include listening to classical and jazz music, and composing music. Owen currently plays in the WYSO Pondrom Honors Piano Quartet, the Monona Grove Jazz Ensemble, and the Monona Grove Orchestra. Owen has also participated in the Piano Intensive at Interlochen Arts Camp.

Cooper Buehl is a senior at Parker High School in Janesville, Wisconsin, and a student of Dr. Karen Boe of the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. He was recently named the winner of the Wisconsin MTNA Senior Piano Performance Competition. Cooper has spent past summers studying piano performance at the Brevard Music Center, Carnegie Mellon University, and the University of Miami. In addition to his solo work, Cooper enjoys performing chamber music with members of the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra and accompanying his high school choirs. Outside of music, he enjoys playing on his school’s varsity tennis team, serving as a Student Representative through Rock County Youth in Governance, studying foreign languages, and competing internationally in personal financial literacy for his school’s DECA chapter. Cooper plans to attend Yale University in the fall, pursuing studies in Music, Classics, and Ethics, Politics, & Economics (EPE).
