Elliot McKay (they/them) is a 17-year-old senior at Vel Phillips Memorial High School. They have studied piano with Lisa Allred for 11 years and have also studied with David Barash for the past year, benefiting from his expertise in the Taubman Approach. In addition to piano, Elliot studies violin, has performed lead and ensemble roles in school and community theater productions, serves as a teaching assistant and student conductor for school orchestras and choirs, and competes in forensics tournaments throughout Wisconsin. They are currently preparing to audition for university music programs and hope to study music education in college next year.

Owen Auby is a senior at Monona Grove High School, where he plays in the orchestra and jazz ensemble. He has studied piano with Jess Salek since 2021. Owen’s hobbies include piano and guitar, listening to classical and jazz music, and music composition. Owen participated in the Interlochen Piano Intensive in 2024. He is in his third year as the pianist with the WYSO Pondrom Honors Piano Quartet, and will be the featured soloist with the Madison Community Orchestra on November 1st playing Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.
